Stow, OH (15 minutes from Akron, OH)
Today I feel like I really let loose and started enjoying this time. I had a dance party in my hotel room while I got ready and organized my belongings. It was snowing at the hotel when I was packing everything back into my car. It snowed for awhile and the roads were not that great, but the closer I got to the falls, the better it got.
OMG! Niagara Falls = AMAZING!! Check out the pictures are below. Herold was so good too! He got so many compliments and attention - probably because he is so handsome. It was really cold, somewhat windy and very wet. But it was so beautiful to see. Surprisingly there were a lot of people there today.
Herold and I got Starbucks - he got a pupaccino (whipped cream) and I got a black coffee. Grabbed some food and hit the road to Ohio. Drove just under 300 miles today. It took about 3 1/2 hours to get to Stow, OH where the hotel is. I got here just past 5:00pm.
I looked up meetings in Akron and saw that there was a women's meeting at 7pm, so I unloaded some things, hung out and played with Herold and then headed over there. Then I couldn't find it and resorted to going to a different meeting. I am so glad I did. As soon as I walked in, I felt at home, peaceful and grateful. At least a dozen people introduced themselves to me and a few people talked with me after and gave me some helpful information for tomorrow's adventures. My heart is full of gratitude tonight.
I am going to a meeting at St. Thomas Hospital at 6:45am tomorrow morning. This is the same hospital that Dr. Bob treated many patients and where Sister Ignatia helped Dr. Bob. I will head back to the hotel for a bit, have some breakfast, put some air in my tires and see if I can find a Petco to get Herold some more food. Then I plan on heading over to Dr. Bob's house for a tour. Then I will go to the Mayflower Hotel (now an assisted living place) to see where Bill made the call to find someone to work with (Dr. Bob) and then to see the mansion where Dr. Bob planned on meeting Bill for 15 minutes and then they ended up talking for hours. They are not open now, but I will be able to peek in the window. I am really excited about learning and getting to see these things.
Then I am off to Milwaukee, WI. I have no idea what I am going to do there. I know the drive is about seven hours, so I won't arrive until late in the night. It is going to be a long day tomorrow, so feel free to call me, especially in the afternoon while I am driving.
Love & Light
